Context

AudioRhoon brings together software, connected devices and music-making. Its respiratory and speech therapy devices work with applications that present games for people with a wide range of disabilities, helping them improve their quality of life.

My role

As lead iOS developer, I managed more than ten Objective-C codebases, covering development, deployment and ongoing product support. I worked with UI/UX teams to develop assets and kept the suite aligned with App Store and iOS release guidelines.

Constraints and requirements

The apps needed reliable Bluetooth pairing and stable behaviour with the physical devices. Supporting the suite meant paying attention to the hardware as well as the software, while keeping releases compatible with changing iOS and App Store requirements.

What I built

I developed Bluetooth-connected iOS applications for the respiratory and speech therapy devices. Each app presented a game, with work spanning device integration, interface assets, release management and product maintenance. I also corrected calibration problems in a third-party breath-input device SDK and kept the apps compatible through iOS changes.
